Splitting this Site into Three

It’s been a month since I started this blog, not knowing quite where it was going. I have a lot of interests, so I post about a lot of different things. In the past, when I’ve done other blogs, for one reason or another I hadn’t been able to keep up with all of them. But it seems now is the time in life when I can.

Only problem is that, with my interests being so varied, I think I do a disservice to anyone that might find this blog. Maybe you like the music but not the stories, or the stories but not my Catholic pontificating, or my Catholic pontificating but not my music.

With that in mind, I’m splitting this blog up into three different sites: one for music, one for stories/poetry, and the last for opinion pieces. Here they are with a short description:

The Opinions of Catholic Anonymous – If you have subscribed to my blog, this is the one you’ll be getting notifications from. It’s where I’ll be continuing to talk about Catholic life, life in general, what I’m pissed about, what I love, and otherwise care about discussing. A good example of the kind of post on this site is this one. I will also be posting here when I’ve got a new episode up for my podcast on the teachings of Pope Francis.

The Music of Catholic Anonymous – I record and put out music on my Soundcloud account somewhat regularly (at least for now). I also go into the meaning behind them and will be talking about the musical aspects of them. If that interests you, check it out. A good example of the kind of post on that site would be this one.

The Stories of Catholic Anonymous – I’m trying my hand at story-writing. I’ll be be putting up short, one-post stories and am currently working on a longer one. If you are interested in those, check that one out.

All that aside, I am grateful for all of you who take a little time out of your day to read my posts. I hope they are an encouragement. Also, I hope this split allows you to get the content you are interested in and not just what happens to be spewing out of my brain on a particular evening.

God bless.
